July 11: A Prayer for Physical Healing and Deliverance

Glorious Father, we thank You for salvation. Thank You for Your eternal love and unmerited grace. Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus, to break the power of the devil and to bring us hope, health, and healing. Thank You for sending Your Holy Spirit, to comfort and empower us. We give thanks because You are near. People everywhere will tell of Your wonderful deeds.  Lord, You are good and Your unfailing love endures forever.  You are great and You perform wonderful deeds.  You alone are God.

Awesome Father, You brought Israel out of Egypt with signs and wonders, with a strong hand and powerful arm.  Jesus Christ, Your Son, turned water into wine, cleansed lepers, healed the sick, raised the dead, and fed five thousand people with two fish and five loaves of bread.  Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples so that we would believe that He is the Christ, the Son of God, and have life in His Name.  We believe Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today and forever.  Therefore, Father, we expect You to display Your glory in the lives of those people who are in need of healing and deliverance.  With You, nothing is impossible.  We expect diseases to be dissolved, broken relationships to be mended, and those who are held captive in their minds and souls to be set free.  As we pray for those in need of healing and deliverance, we confess that Your power will operate through us.

List the names of people you know who need a physical healing and deliverance; encourage them to pray Scriptures of healing located at https://myprayerinstitute.wordpress.com/category/healing/)

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Righteous Father, please help us to be bolder about praying for healing and deliverance.  Help those in need of healing and deliverance to trust in You with all of their heart and not depend on their own understanding. Holy Spirit, please open the eyes of their understanding so that they will understand the confident hope given to those Christ has called.  Remind people to look to You for help, strength, and power.  Father, cause Your awesome power to be experienced throughout our church and community.

Merciful Father, forgive those people who have doubted Your Word and Your works.  Forgive them for acting Godly, but denying Your power to perform healings, signs and wonders in their lives and in the lives of others.  Lord, please forgive them and restore to them the joy of Your salvation.  Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind those people who are in need of physical healing and deliverance to forgive others and please help them to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to show you names or faces of people that you may need to forgive.  As He shows you, say aloud, “I forgive name of person(s).”  Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)

Holy Spirit, help those people who are in need of physical healing and deliverance to not yield to temptation; but deliver them from the evil one.

Royal Lord, You are the Almighty!  Only You can open the eyes of the blind and unplug the ears of the deaf.  You cause the lame to leap like deer and those who cannot speak to sing for joy.  You cause springs to gush forth in the wilderness and streams to water the wasteland. You cause the parched ground to become a pool and springs of water to satisfy the thirsty land.  Great and awesome is Your Name.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

June 28: A Prayer for Persons with Renegade Blood Disorders

Righteous Father, we thank You, for sending Your Word to heal us, and for snatching us from the power of death. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for shedding Your blood so that people may be healed.  Thank You, Holy Spirit, for empowering the Word to provide healing when we speak it.  Father, we praise and honor Your Name.  Your Name is the Lord and we will rejoice before You.  You have been our home through all generations.  We praise You, Lord God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting.  Lord, what a variety of things You have made.  In wisdom, You have made them all.  The earth is full of Your creatures.

Immortal Father, we pray for all persons with renegade blood disorders such as Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), Sickle Cell Anemia, Lupus, Hypertension, and Hemophilia.  Lord, today, we apply Your Word to these blood-related diseases and we are expecting miracles.  Lord Jesus, You personally carried our sins in Your body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right.  Therefore, by Your wounds, (speak the names) are healed.  According to the authority that You have given us to heal the sick and cast out demons, we command Your Word to be operative in the blood cells of every person who is experiencing blood disorders.  Lord, we command their blood circulatory systems to operate perfectly.  We command their lungs, hearts and organs to function correctly as designed by You.  We command their red blood cells to carry the appropriate levels of oxygen throughout their bodies and their white blood cells to form a protective shield against all foreign bodies.  Lord, we confess that as each person pays attention to Your Word, and lets it penetrate deep into their hearts, the Word will bring life to them and healing to their whole body.  Lord, we are expecting their health to be restored.  Yes Father, we are expecting miracles!

List the names of persons who are battling with a renegade blood disorder.  Now, declare this Word over their lives today and encourage them to trust the Lord.  Healing Scriptures can be downloaded from https://myprayerinstitute.wordpress.com/category/healing/

Holy Spirit, we ask You to touch the hearts of those persons who have not confessed Jesus Christ, to confess Him as their Savior and Lord. Please give strength to those who are weak, and increase power to those who have no might. Lord, please give wisdom to the practitioners who provide medical treatment. Regardless of their relationship with You, please work through them for the sake of those who are suffering. Holy Spirit, please remind those who are battling with their health to take Your Word daily; just as they would take their prescribed medicine. Remind them to eat healthy foods and to get the proper rest. Help those persons who are struggling with receiving help to accept the kindness of others. Holy Spirit, please help them to guard their hearts and minds from doubt and unbelief.  Please give them comfort, and help them to walk by faith.

Loving Father, forgive those persons who are battling with renegade blood disorders for all acts of sinfulness.  Please forgive the sins and iniquities of their forefathers.  Forgive each person for worry, fear and for walking in doubt and disobedience. Forgive those who do not diligently seek after You.  Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind those persons with blood disorders of those they need to forgive and help them to forgive.

Holy Spirit, help them to not yield to temptation; but deliver them from the evil one.

Eternal Lord, You are greater than we can understand.  Your years cannot be counted.  King, You created the heavens and stretched them out.  You created the earth and everything in it.  You give breath to everyone, life to everyone who walks the earth.  The Lord, that is Your Name!  In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

June 25: A Prayer for Healing and Deliverance from Cancer

Faithful Father, we are thankful for Jesus, the Living Word, who is seated at Your right hand.  We give thanks to You, Lord, for You are good.  Your faithful love endures forever.  Who can list Your glorious miracles, Lord?  We give thanks to You, Jesus, for You took our sicknesses and removed our diseases.  We give thanks to You for You personally carried our sins in Your body on the cross, and freed us from the bondage of death.  By Your wounds, we were healed. Holy Spirit, we thank You for Your power that brings healing to our bodies and souls.  Father, we will exalt You, our God and King, and praise Your Name forever and ever.  Daily, we will praise You, for You are great and most worthy of praise!  No one can measure Your greatness.  We will meditate on Your majestic, glorious splendor and Your wonderful miracles.  Your awe-inspiring deeds will be on every tongue; we will proclaim Your greatness.

Glorious Father, You are our Healer, and Your Word declares everyone who calls on Your Name will be saved.  By the authority in Your Name, we decree that all forms and types of cancer within the bodies of Your people will no longer have dominion. We decree that no weapon formed against the spiritual and physical bodies of Your people will prosper.  We cancel the devil’s assignments to destroy their bodies with carcinoma, sarcoma, leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and all forms of cancer, including the central nervous system.  We declare that all malignant and abnormal cells are dying; they are no longer dividing and spreading through the blood or lymph systems.  We trust in You, our God who brings the dead back to life and who creates new things out of nothing; therefore, we declare life and restoration into their bodies. By faith, we boldly command complete healing of the immune system in the bodies of Your children.  Lord, we decree that You are their light and salvation, so they will not be afraid.  You are their fortress, their protection from danger, so they will not tremble.  We command peace to be still in their lives as they are being made whole by the miraculous power of God.

Holy Spirit, please help those who are overcoming cancer to set their hope on You so that they will continue to obey God’s commands and not forget His glorious miracles. Continue to use all health professionals as instruments of healing; through the practice of medicine, prayer offered in faith, the laying on of hands and other means of healing that You have ordained.  Give researchers divine insight into the causes, diagnoses and treatment of cancers.  Strengthen those persons who are suffering with these conditions in their bodies, and help them to live out their faith in You. Increase their endurance and patience as they walk through the healing process.  Fill them with Your presence and remind them that You will never fail or abandon them.  Daily remind them that there is nothing too hard for God and with Him, everything is possible. Surround them with Your peace as they undergo chemotherapy, radiation therapy, surgery or other cancer treatment methods.  Touch the hearts of family members to provide an atmosphere of faith, hope and love. Please help to provide the adequate finances, transportation, food, clothing and shelter.  Holy Spirit, teach us all how to live in Your Kingdom and to treat our bodies as Your temple; remind us to eat healthy, exercise and sleep enough hours so that our bodies fully recover from the day’s activities.

Today, I will cry out to the Lord as I pray in faith for:

Gracious God, forgive us for doubting Your love and power to heal our bodies. Forgive us for being irresponsible with our health. Forgive us for not acknowledging the abundance of Your healing virtue, grace and mercy which we have received through our Lord and Savior.  Forgive us for ungodly behavior including:  unforgiveness, bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior.  Forgive our nation for creating unhealthy conditions in our food supply and environment.  We confess our sinfulness for we have not always obeyed Your commandments and lived faithfully in Your Word.  Have mercy upon us according to Your Word.  Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed).  Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive.  As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive.  (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to show you names or faces of people that you may need to forgive.  As He shows you, say aloud, “I forgive name of person (s).”  Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)

April 8: A Prayer of Deliverance

Almighty God, we thank You for the gift of Jesus Christ, who has redeemed our souls. As the Body of Christ, we thank You for delivering us from seen and unseen dangers. We thank You that when we are tempted, You always show us a way out so that we can endure. We faint with longing to enter into Your courts, Lord. With our whole being, body and soul, we will shout joyfully to You, our Living God. We have joy because our strength comes from You. A single day in Your courts is better than a thousand anywhere else! We would rather be gatekeepers in Your house than live the good life in the homes of the wicked. You are our sun and shield. You give us grace and glory.
Awesome Father, throughout the journey of our lives, we have always been able to depend on You. You have delivered us from every evil attack and brought us safely to Your ark of protection. We believe and trust You to deliver us from every danger. Father, we know that whenever we come to You for protection, You will not let us be disgraced. You always turn Your ear to listen to us and You rescue us quickly. We decree that You are the rock of protection; a fortress where we can be safe. Just for the honor of Your Name, You will lead us out of danger. You pull us from the trap of our enemies to set us free. We find protection in You alone. As the Body of Christ, we will entrust our spirits into Your hands for You are a faithful God. We confess that because You are so rich in kindness and grace, You purchased our freedom with the blood of Your Son and forgave our sins. We are delivered!
Holy Spirit, lead those in the Body of Christ, to return to God if they have strayed away from the path of truth and righteousness in any way. Create inside of all of us a desire to do what is good and to live a life of purity. Renew a loyal spirit within us so that we will remain connected to the presence and power of our Father God. Help us to remain committed to God’s ways and not the ways of the world. We want to be stable in our faith. Teach us to love justice and hate evil so that the oil of joy can continuously flow, unhindered, among us. The times we live in are full of evil influences. We ask that You keep us alert and aware of the devil who prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Strengthen those of us who are weak and entrapped in sin. Set the prisoner of sin and iniquity free. Remind us to humble ourselves under the mighty power of the Father, and to give all of our worries and cares to Him, for we know that God cares for us.
Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance areas in my life that have me and my family in bondage. Show me any areas in which I am influencing others to violate God’s commandments so that I might earnestly pray for deliverance:
Loving Father, we are so grateful that You stand ready to forgive us and cleanse us from all wickedness. Forgive us for being so ready to accommodate the cravings of our flesh rather than relying upon Your strength to resist the devil. Forgive us for being stubborn and rebellious. Forgive us for leaving open doors of unconfessed sin and allowing our transgressions to impart our children. Forgive us for bringing sorrow to the Holy Spirit by the way we live. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that You have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us all of all those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive.

Holy Spirit, help us all to not yield to temptation; but deliver us from the evil one.
Almighty Lord, there is no one like You! You are great and Your Name is full of power. Who would not fear You, O King of the nations? That title belongs to You alone. Among all the wise people of the earth and in all the kingdoms of the world, there is no one like You. Rise up, O Lord, in all Your power. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

January 26: A Prayer Concerning Overcoming Addictions

Heavenly Father, thank You for Jesus, the Name that is above all names. Thank You for giving us the power of the Holy Spirit which is greater than any power that exists in this world. Thank You for never giving up on us, even when we fail time after time. You are so merciful and kind. We cannot live without You, Lord. We will praise You with our whole hearts. We will tell of the marvelous things You have done. We are filled with joy because of You, Most High, and we sing praises to Your Name! We know You to be a shelter for us when we are oppressed and troubled. You never abandon those who search for You. Lord, we love You. You are our strength. You are the Rock in whom we find protection and safety. Your Name is worthy of praise!

Faithful Father, it is not Your will for us to be lost and held captive by addictions to drugs, alcohol, sex, food, gambling, or any other vices. We decree that whoever the Son has set free is truly free. Therefore, we rebuke the spirit of addiction that seeks to destroy the lives of those within our Church Family, our personal families, and in our community. There is no other name that is powerful enough to save our loved ones who are bound by addiction than the Name of Jesus. We are the righteous, and our earnest prayers have great power, producing wonderful results. We will not waver and doubt when things seem to get worse instead of better. We know that You will respond to our faith. Therefore, we declare that we will not cease to pray until our loved ones who are bound by addiction are released and delivered. We declare, in the Name of Jesus, that our homes, our families, and our communities are restored back to You!

Holy Spirit, make us keenly aware of those within our Church Family and community who are hurting and bound. Give us a heart of compassion toward them. Show us how to reach out to them without judging or condemning them. Remind us of Your love and grace that brought us through our trials. Heal those who are bound by addiction in every area of their hurt.  Strengthen and help those who have been hurt by the fallout of addiction – the grandparents raising grandchildren, incarcerated parents, abandoned and abused children, impoverished families, and those who have lost loved ones due to addiction. Help us, as a Church Family, to build better partnerships with community organizations who are reaching out to house, educate, and rehabilitate those who want to come out of addiction. May we be salt and light to them as the Lord has commanded.

Righteous Father, please forgive us for not being there when we should have for those who turned to drugs for comfort. Forgive us for judging and condemning those who are addicted. Forgive us for overlooking opportunities to show love and compassion to the hurting families who are suffering from the effects of addiction. Forgive those who are addicted for turning to something unholy for help instead of turning to You. Forgive them for not responding to the voice of wisdom and making unhealthy choices in life. Forgive those of us who have at one time, knowingly or unknowingly, contributed to the cause of another’s addiction. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that You have committed). Holy Spirit, remind those who are addicted of all those they need to forgive and help them to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. Holy Spirit, help those who are addicted to not yield to temptation; but deliver them from the evil one.

Glorious Lord, ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything You made, we can clearly see Your invincible qualities – Your eternal power and Your divine nature. O Sovereign Lord, You have only begun to show Your greatness and the strength of Your hand to Your servants. Is there any god in heaven or on earth who can perform such great and mighty deeds as You do? In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Father, we declare that we are the righteous, and our earnest prayers have great power, producing wonderful results. We decree that we will not waver and doubt when things seem to get worse instead of better. We know that You will respond to our faith. Therefore, we declare that we will not cease to pray until our loved ones who are bound by addiction are released and delivered. We decree, in the Name of Jesus, that our homes, our families, and our communities are restored back to You!

List the names of friends, family, or neighbors who are struggling to break free of an addiction. Commit to pray specifically for them today:

Holy Spirit, make us keenly aware of those within our Church Family and community who are hurting and bound. Give us a heart of compassion toward them. Show us how to reach out to them without judging or condemning them. Remind us of Your love and grace that brought us through our trials. Help us to give those who are hurting and bound a reason to hope for a better life. Give us a hunger and thirst to pray and intercede for them until we see that they are delivered and set free from addiction. Heal them in every area of hurt. Strengthen and help those who have been hurt by the fallout of abuse – the grandparents raising grandchildren, incarcerated parents, abandoned and abused children, impoverished families, and those who have lost loved ones due to addiction. Help us, as a Church Family, to build better partnerships with community organizations who are reaching out to house, educate, and rehabilitate those who want to come out of addiction. May we be salt and light to them as the Lord has commanded.

Righteous Father, please forgive us for not being there when we should have for that person who turned to drugs for comfort. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to show You names or faces of people that You may need to forgive. As He shows You, say aloud, “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in Your soul caused by unforgiveness.)

Holy Spirit, help those who are addicted to not yield to temptation; but deliver them from the evil one.

Exalted Father, ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky.

December 25: A Prayer for Physical Healing and Deliverance
